A highly personal work reflecting on the artist’s own experience of Scoliosis and Tomophobia. Presented in a landscape painting, one would noticed the foreground mountain ranges form by body parts, deterring us from what lies beyond. This barrier is an inward reflection by the artist on how her own medical condition has limit her own progression, yet in the image, the sense of hope is presented by the surgical lights and sunrise beyond.
